As a little girl I used to hate the rain
Rain put an end to games I'd love to play
Rain meant running off the beach
And spoilt a perfect day
As a little girl the rain was not my friend
Picnics were out no pretty clothes to went
Rain meant staying In all day
Or ruining my hair

But I guess I'm changing with the years
Cause now I love the rain it clears the air
Making mirrors out of sidewalks
Painting rainbows everywhere
As a little girl I never liked that boy
Called me names then he'd laugh and run away
I would try and hide from him
