Delightful Voice

A blank page in the rays,
a quick pen to capture it,
an idea flows nicely and stays
yet it remains hidden and dimly lit.
On I write with no direction,
words spring forth from within deep.
I try to grasp my first reflection
that brought about these words I had to keep.
I promised myself to call you never,
yet here I am with the desire
to hear your voice, cute and clever.
Surely it will my thoughts inspire.
The idea came as quick as thunder,
but left me quicker than sight.
Yet here are words for you to plunder,
a loving treasure for your delight.
