Motivate Me

One last regret and then i have to go
One more phone call ill have to put on hold
One more waitress ill never get to know
A few more consequences but i guess i should have known

One more picture, and one more thousand words
So bury me in empty promises, because they no longer hurt
And im so callused from trusting, and im so callused from changing
But maybe its not me

Ive always envied how you knew what to say
Anytime anything didnt go your way
I never knew just how to turn it all around
I always found a way to bring it down

Im so sick of always waiting for something to come and motivate me
And where are lifes little pleasures? im always going to desperate measures
To find out answers to my questions, but maybe i never should have asked them
Because sometimes running from your problems is the only way to solve them

So just say it, because i know its on your mind
What am i missing here, what am i trying to find?
So ill tell you what i told everyone else
I dont know for sure but theres got to be something else
