Long before the beginning of the revolution
When all over greece freedom was an illusion
There was a place up north over the mountains
Did not exist for those people of godness

Allways fight, women and children
Prefer to die and never surrender
But someday betrayed by the hardships
Sacrifice themselves for the sunlight

After many years the pain was stamped on their faces
Men were not enough to keep in freedom their places
Left from fatherlands and come back with a decision
To kill or be killed no reason to live in a prison

Unsubdued souls from the bodies of heroes
Prepare the ground for freedom
No reason to live with the fear inside
Escape from the evil
Jumping to die and live forever
Paradise is near
With songs is full the air

Fly high, over the snowed hills
Between the haughty trees
Over the seven seas
And feel the air of peace inside
A million stars will dance tonight
Up in the sky
