We Almost Were (feat. JinJoo Lee)

We almost were
Like a promise never made or broken
So close and so far
No fire from the spark
We almost were

Was it all for nothing?
Does it fall on me?
'Cause I remember the simple days
When I dreamed differently
We spent all night talking
'Bout a life I couldn't keep
But I still wonder, If I walked that road
Now what would we be?

We had something real, I can't deny
Three years passing right before my eyes
You showed me love, showed me change
Made me want things I couldn't chase

We almost were
Like a promise never made or broken
So close and so far
No fire from the spark
We almost were

It could've been forever
Now we'll never know
It just echoes, in the hallways of my home

We had something real, I can't deny
Three years passing right before my eyes
You showed me love, showed me change
Made me want things I couldn't chase

We almost were
Like a promise never made or broken
So close and so far
No fire from the spark
We almost were

We almost were, whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh
We almost were, whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh

So close and so far
No fire from the spark
We almost were
