Political Prisoner

I'm a political prisoner
In jail for what i believe
I never hurt anyone
Just ... ?? told me
All of my freedom
Has been taken away
I am questioned
And tortured everyday

I should be granted amnesty
I shouldn't be held in the first place
They're trying to take my name away
They want to erase my face

If they had their way
I would be killed
The people would be controlled
Dissenters would be...??

I might get the public riled up
On my turn to the institution
'cause if the truth is made known to all
There'd be a mass revolution
