Lately I've been wondering
Why your past hurts me so much
And why I'm not who I want to be
And why my sanity is lost
I always watched you in your underworld
Where mystic moments filled the air

A lizard king can do anything
What about the king of rain?
Forever victim of pathetic past?
Must he always feel ashamed?
For his years of silent misery
Must he always leave a stain?

Playing the clown
