The streets, a hush of frozen murmurs
A boy in shadows, heart in flame
Beheld an angel, gilded captive
Dreams ignited, lost to pain

She smiled through fractured rays of morning
Ghostly whispers traced the glass
Her voice, a siren’s aching echo

A cursed flame will scorch in silence
