Thoughts are rivers running deep
They never fade, they never sleep
I try to breathe, I try to slow
But still they pull me down below

Some days they're soft, like distant rain
Other days, they scream in pain

In my mind, can't break free
Lost in the echoes that no one can see
A thousand voices, all mine alone
Building walls inside my bones
And every thought I try to fight
Just comes alive again at night

They say that time will heal it all
But time just watches while I fall
Each memory is loud and clear
Whispers everything I fear

I try to hide behind a smile
