It was just another ordinary day
Well there was nothing much happening anyway
Then out of the blue i hear from you
Taking me back to days that i once knew
You said "hi, it's me, do you remember?
How the hell you been and how do you feel?"

And i said, i said

That is why i'm on the happy side of life

It was such an extraordinary weeked
Since we'd only just met two days before
He held my hand like he'd known me forever
We drank so much we spent the night on the floor
