And Mani wheels of silver art
They roamed the sky, they strayed, they stayed
The world in chaos, night betrayed

The gods cried out, the people wept
No rhythm held, no order kept
Odin's spear struck threat on high
Yet Sol and Mani mocked his cry

Sköll and Hati, wolves of doom

Then Aesir bound the beasts of night
Chained in wrath, yet leashed to flight
Odin set them on the run

Skoll gleypir sól
Hati gleypir mána
Ragnarǫk rís
Heimsins vana

Through endless ages still they chase
Till doom shall fall on time and place
At Ragnarök their fangs will bite
