Price To Pay

The price I have to pay is high
But it is the only reason for my existence

I watch myself falling into the deep
The only thing I can trust now are my senses

Is it still possible to stop me now
From causing pain and despair?
Asking myself whether it's right or wrong
To fulfill this purpose I’ve been given

Being just one of many?

Can I find deliverance
In the suffering I’m causing?
Fulfillment seems so close
Death seems so unavoidable

Can’t no longer weigh up between right and wrong
I have to do it now
Becoming dispensable if I don’t
I do what I was made for
