Wailing Walls

The clearest night there has been for a long time
it's locked inside a box that's open wide
Not long before I was standing at that door
long enough to never see you turn around

The darkest eyes turn away from me
they blink and make their way to something I can't see
so long, goodbye it's better not to cry
the things we've done will take some time to heal

and when you think your life's too complicated
