The real face of people
So I decided to do that, and it's terrifying

I spent so much time thinking monsters
Lived under the bed or in door cracks
That they thrived in darkness, waiting for the right moment
But the truth isn't like that, not at all

They're everywhere
Even inside of us
Just waiting for a chance
To emerge

Terrified by this new face

Like a dark song inside the mind
Each verse a piercing, shadowy melody
Tearing every part of us and sawing in half
Dividing the good from the bad, dismembering everything

A grotesque and bloody scene that somehow
Gets everyone excited with its slow, twisted torture
Terrifying, silencing, laughing at themselves
Bathed in blood, a face hidden behind makeup

Terrified by this new face
That stares right at me
