Cutting Corners

When I was just a kid
Didn't know how to live

When I was 17
Almost gave up on my dream
Almost said goodbye too early
Carolina be so sad
And maybe even mom and dad
And my dogs would start to worry

And it's better for a minute
Till I find myself back in it
I'm not sure how much more I can take it
