Awakening

You watch me drink away the day
With each breath I become numb
To the voices that are haunting me
You are my drug

I’m so alone I’m giving up
A broken records all I’ve got
To remind me of the mess you left when I was lost

Out of the darkness, I will rise
Chasing my demons till I die
I will always be a victim while you're still alive

Out of the shadows, we will fight
Run from the ashes take my life
Back to a place that I can start to take a breath again
