Hope

I'm outside, the Sun shines
Mom is singing in the room
I'm terrified, it'll all die and disappear before I do
I'll move out, then mom'll die
But I'll leave for brighter days
Late at night, I hear them cry
Never who wants change anyway?

I wrote in, the messages
What I'm wishing for myself
I still fear, that my fears, will kill what's lefting of me
And I know, dad will leave
But I know there will be a legacy
And every day, I want to leave
Who would think that I dreamed?
