I sit inside and waste away
Sometimes I sleep during the day
I play some games while I'm awake
Stare at the screen till my eyes ache
I know there's nothing here for me
No magic spell to set me free
I might escape the world outside
But not the one inside my mind

Within these basement walls
I'm breaking up, I want to shout
I'm sick to death of how I live
But I've no way to make it out
I used to have my hopes and dreams
But life has torn them away from me
And there's no hope that I can see
There's only tired apathy
