Did You Pray Today?

God gave a warning to mankind
But only few would seek or find
Man chose war, in mad delight
Twisting truth and killing light

They let the darkness steal their voice
And sold their souls without a choice
Now all will wander, lost, alone
In a world no longer their own

Sweet dreams will rot, turn into fears
The end begins with blood and tears
Chaos comes, the sky turns gray
Are we prepared to face that day?

Hearts grow thirsty, eyes are red
Man destroys the path he tread
Violent hands and foolish minds
The river dies, the Sun declines

Doomed to meet the final fate
Crushed by jaws of devil's hate
In hellish tombs they'll scream and burn
For peace shall nevermore return

Angels freed, each holds a blade
From heaven's heights the trumpets played
Seven cups of blood will pour
Spilling death from shore to shore

The book will open, truth revealed
Dark gods praised, and fate is sealed
Human hearts will drift away
And rue the price they chose to pay

Crimes and plagues, deceit and lies
Life will end as virtue dies
Anguish, sorrow, deep despair
The tribulation fills the air

Destiny can’t be undone
The warning came, but none would run
The devil’s law is carved in stone
And punishment is ours alone

They’ll fall into the shadowed deep
Where tortured souls can never sleep
The end draws close, the skies turn gray
Tell me, did you pray today?
