We took the very essence of our souls
And cast it out into the universe
And so our message in a bottle floats
Somewhere deep within the cosmic ocean

In some way they may understand
Green grass and blue skies
A sunset tapestry of mother nature
Bestowed with fragments from the heart of man
Without a language only emotion translates

Say hello to the dreamers of planet earth
Imparting all that we know
In hopes it will show
Everything we're made of
We implore you to measure our planet's worth
A chance to look at ourselves
If life somewhere else isn't just a fable

To exist
Is to dream
The abyss
Calls to me
No endeavor teaches us about ourselves
