Splinters of Lucidity

Resting fragments of glass towards the hole
Drawing the wooden floor
A border grotty shadowed
Disguised in gloom
Illuminative window

It would just be a piteous hand
Reaching for devious rays
Only the shifting moons
Penetrate and taunting me

Vast extensive ruins that arise from severity inside
How could it just be?
Their is certain weight that anchors unrelenting in nerved flesh

Inside the absentia of sanity
It is somehow clarity
It is somehow tragedy
Almost lunacy of apathy
In normal dwell and living

Beyond all help
Illuminative window
Fragmented glass below
Reflecting nothing but the incident

Reality not projected
But just made clear in blur
In one instant of light
That appeared and just lingered
Like the time could not breathe anymore
Like a suffocation of the continual line of being

It leaked from the caverns inside of me
The source that clasps the brush with its skeleton fingers
Standing in front of its sick canvas and surveying it through my eyes
Affixing arbitrary to dispensing its powers
The control of a human mind

That covers it all but reflects it too well
