Often times we question our value in life.
Is the potential reward of happiness
Worth all of our pain and suffering?
In the most extreme cases,
The thought of suicide seems to paralyze
Our self-esteem dramatically,
Seducing us into the lowest places,
Our mind can go, but choosing to start a new life
Doesn't mean we need to end this one.
Taking life in a new direction is the first step,
And whether you believe or existence comes
From the heavens or nature,
We should all value this gift called life.

Live with a lie,
You've altered the way of my life.
Now I know why
You always wanted to die.
Your words kill my heart,
Like a needle straight into my veins.
But I hate that your drug
Can heal all of my pain.

Now, white cliffs by the sea
Seduce my weakened mind.
Is this the end of my time?

Life in the sky,
Kingdom up above,
What opens the door,
'His word' or the drugs?
