My Last Prayer

Here now, in the twilight of my life
Reflections and thoughts echo in my head,
A righteous war, made sinners of us all,
Sinner or Saint, i'll soon be dead,
I offer my prayers, my last thought,
Of all the things i could'nt comprehend,
No personnel diety, but to all men,
The wisdom of a soldier,
Neither foe nor friend.

Fires blaze in the warzone,
I found death and misery alone,
Where is the honour, and the glory?
For this war, Why do i feel sorry...?

I hear the feeble cries of children screaming,
I hear the feeble cries of children bleeding,
I hear the feeble cries of children dying...

Blind Loyalty, no questions asked,
Its out here, Demons are unmasked,
Everyday i seek forgiveness,
For every soul rendered lifeless.

All we did, were based on lies,
I put a bullet between tearful eyes,
Another war to end all wars,
Another bullet, another soldier falls... today.

Red are my lands.
Blood on my hands,
