Our Victory Is Won

When the battle lines are drawn in the sand
And the weight of the world is too much to stand
I won't rely on my own fading power
I'll lift up my eyes in the darkest hour
For the King of the heavens is taking the lead
He knows every trial and supplies every need

When we put God ahead, the victory is won
The shadows will fade at the rise of the Sun
Like a loving Father who cares for His own
He never will leave us to fight all alone
He wants only good for the children He made
In the light of His love, all our fears start to fade

The weapons of fear and the whispers of doubt
Are broken to pieces when His praise rings out
We march with assurance, we walk in His grace
With the shield of His presence in every place
The battle belongs to the Lord up above
And we are sustained by His infinite love
