Beneath The Burning Sun

Eyes barely open I wander this earth
I'm tired but I cannot sleep
Black sky that paints the stars of the end
Cries with me as I crawl
On this weary hour my wounds still bleed
And the battle rages forever on
The god I've forsaken placed a curse on me
And everything I love has died

Lying on the ground
I scream into the night
But the voice has died
The bitterness strangles my throat

With shaking hands I hold on life
Recalling good parts of my time
With weakened legs I try to stand tall
But this burden makes me tremble and fall
I've prayed for god, I've prayed for Satan
But no one will answer me
