A Tale of Treachery

you have failed me
i remember the days we were closer than blood/ you were my brother/you gave it your all to set your standards straight/ and you had so much pride in all that you believed
but now what is it that you cannot see/ you have already beaten the path/ i just took what was given to me/ fighting side by side in a blaze so deadly/ you felt what its like to kill this pride/what went wrong?/ i can`t change it but it doesn`t seem right/ i thought your strenght never would die/ you gave the fight, you gave up your life/ once i realized how you felt i gave up on you/ you failed me/ i lay face down in my own blood/ you have no shame in your eyes
i watched you vanish before my eyes/ the chain that held our trust was torn apart/ there`s no looking back, just walk away/you broke the tie with nothing to say/the day has come between you and me/ you choke on your past and i watch you bleed/ you have lied to me/ i have been deceived/you gave up the fight,
you gave up your life/you gave up on all it once meant/ i gave up on you
