Your jacket on my chair (my chair)
Coffee rings on the old oak table
We laughed so hard we couldn't breathe (breathe)
Half the photos came out blurred

You hummed a song you half remembered (remembered)
Windows open late September (September)
You traced maps on my wrist (on my wrist)
Like we had nowhere else to be

So

Remind me of the best moments
Say them slow so they stay (stay, stay)
All the tiny
Shining seconds
That my mind let's slip away (slip away)
Name the way your eyes were
When you almost said my name

Rain hit the bus stop glass
We missed three rides just talking (just talking)
You stole my scarf
Said it looked better
Wrapped around your stubborn grin

We shared cheap fries (fries)
One umbrella
Streetlight halo on your hair (your hair)
You said
I think we're getting older (older)
I said
We're just getting here

So

Remind me of the best moments
Say them slow so they stay (stay, stay)
All the tiny
Shining seconds
That my mind let's slip away (slip away)
Name the way your eyes were
When you almost said my name

Remind me of the best moments
Till they feel brand new again

If I ever start forgetting
If the days all blur and blend (and blend)
Pull those stories from your sweater sleeve
Read them back to me again (again)

So remind me

Remind me of the best moments
Say them slow so they stay (stay, stay)
All the tiny
Shining seconds
That my mind let's slip away (slip away)
Name the way your eyes were
When you almost said my name

Remind me of the best moments
Till they feel brand new again

Feel brand new again
