The message that they had to learn (they had to learn)
A lifetime’s faith is hard to earn

For he has spoken

Bodies buried in the sand, journey to the holy land
Converging on the path to heaven
Saving grace, their only plan
Soldier’s dying on the way, bodies, spirits lead astray
The templar laden with a lonely road to save their souls they prey

Bring all your sins to erase and rise, or fall by the blade
Such blind faith not hard to see (as they all bleed)
Bringing death across the sea
Messina port to the holy land (the holy land)
All is as God wills for every man

The holy land and the last crusade was almost in their grasp
For salvation or for greed, they crossed the world in search of thee
Bearing with them all their sins to the kingdom that forgives

Never was such blind faith put to the fore
